Willoughby Police Memorial Fundraiser April 13

Come join us for a battle of the badges at South High School, 5000 Shankland Rd. in Willoughby. A basketball game between Willoughby Police Officers and Firefighters. The game will also include South High School students and teachers.

The game is set for Saturday, April 13, 2013. A tentative start time of 6 p.m. has been set.

Event proceeds will benefit the Willoughby Police Memorial fund which will include all of Willoughby’s fallen officers. (Deputy Marshall Ernest Grey – July 16, 1919, Lt. Joyce R. Moore – March 22, 1995 & Patrolman Jason Gresko – September 21, 2012.) the game will be played in memory of Patrolman Gresko. The memorial will be built in front of the Willoughby Police Department.

The ticket price is a donation of your choosing. There will be some special entertainment throughout the game and also a special show by South High student band “Lake Effect” at the end of the game.

The Gresko brothers will be special Refs for the game. Sandra and Olivia will also be at the event and tossing up the jump ball. Keeping checking back for additions to the event.

For the kids: Imagine Salon staff will be on site for hair braids and glitter application for a $1 donation.
