Napoleon News LLC, the parent company of Willoughby Today, has received two 2012 APEX awards from Lake Communicators, a Lake County marketing communications organization.
Stefanie Valentic, Napoleon News owner and copywriter, earned a bronze award for exceptional website content. In addition, Valentic also earned a silver award for social media engagement on the Downtown Willoughby Facebook page.
“It is an absolute honor to be recognized by other marketing communications professionals in Lake County,” she said. “I look forward to continuing to develop DTWilloughby.com into an exceptional hyperlocal website for Willoughby.”
Valentic also credits Dave Kuhar, owner of Media Cellar, who designed and continues to work as web developer for Willoughby Today.
Willoughby Today was created to help spread the word about businesses, organizations, events and news in Willoughby. Willoughby Today works close with but does not receive funding from the city of Willoughby.
Napoleon News LLC was formed in August 2010 to give business owners a voice. The company creates and manages marketing campaigns for small businesses in Northeast Ohio.
