Last Stop Willoughby 2012: Train Displays

Over 100,000 Lego blocks make for a great train layout! We will also have a large 20-foot long display from other train lovers like you from Division 5! See the model trains wind through the mountains and rivers of the landscape all made to scale.

Then drive your own model train around the fountain at Point Park where Trains at Your Place will set up three model trains layouts. Children young an
d old will be able to be the train’s engineer.

After you have driven you own train, take a ride on the trolley! Lolly the Trolley will be here for a free ride. In fact, there will be two trolleys taking you on a 20-minute tour of Historic Downtown Willoughby. Our special historical train conductors will take you on a whirlwind tour of the Willoughby of yesteryear with stops at historic Willoughby Coal and the Lake County Indian Museum. Willoughby Coal is home to an original Pullman train car and the Willoughby Area Welcome Center display where you can learn more about Willoughby and its wonderful history.

So be sure to mark your calendar for Saturday, August 18, for a great free family event.

All aboard!
