Max is a six-year-old coonhound who has been at the shelter for a year. Max is an absolute sweetheart and has gotten along with any dog he has ever been put with. That being said, Max is not fond of cats — hey, we all have things we don’t like!
Max would love a fenced in yard, but it’s not necessary if you are able to exercise him. Once he is able to get out and release some of his energy, Max is perfectly happy to curl up in his bed and sleep the day away.
Max has not had an easy life, but he remains his happy go lucky self.
