The Historic Downtown Willoughby Merchants Association has appointed Stefanie Toth as Director of Media Relations.
Toth’s roles will include event organization and promotion, fundraising, working with other area groups, designing marketing materials, communicating regularly with area businesses and maintaining social media accounts.
“I’m proud to be able to represent the Downtown Willoughby area on a regular basis,” she said. “I appreciate the overwhelming support of the HDWMA and other organizations in the area.”
In 2009, Toth earned a B.S. in Journalism from the E.W. Scripps School of Journalism at Ohio University and specialized in business and economics.
Toth has helped promote Willoughby businesses and events since August 2010, when she founded an online community website for Willoughby called Willoughby Today, www.DTWilloughby.com.
In 2011, she was a board member of the Heart of Willoughby. While at the organization, she developed a marketing campaign for Last Stop Willoughby which grew from 2,500 attendees in 2010 to an estimated 15,000 visitors in 2011.
