Willoughby Police Department will be collecting donations for the Lake County Dog Shelter during the month of December.
The donation drive is in honor of retired K-9 Kilo who recently lost his battle with cancer. Kilo served for nine years with the Willoughby Police Department.
Donations for the shelter can be left under the Christmas tree in the Police Department lobby, 36700 Euclid Ave.
In addition to dog food and treats, some of the items on the shelter’s wish list are: grooming supplies, towels, Q-tips, cottons balls, first aid supplies, flea shampoo, garbage bags and a wide variety of cleaning supplies.
